Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining the trial balance
• Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting preparation of the P&L
• Processing accruals and prepayments
• Managing intercompany postings and journals
• Owning day-to-day management accounting operations
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies, escalating where needed
• Ad hoc management accounting duties as required

Requirements

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Solid, proven experience in a hands-on management accounting role
• Strong technical grasp of reconciliations, journals, accruals/prepayments, intercompany postings
• Sharp, proactive, able to work independently
• Must be based in or around Cardiff
