Group Financial Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function across all UK entities within View Group
- Ensure accurate, timely monthly management accounts and board reporting packs
- Maintain robust financial controls, policies and governance frameworks
- Oversee statutory accounts, audits, corporation tax compliance, regulatory reporting
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury, working capital
- Partner with senior leadership and UK Board on strategic decision-making
- Develop financial models, forecasts and business cases for growth initiatives
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting across the UK
- Lead financial due diligence, integration planning and post-acquisition reporting
- Develop scalable finance systems/processes for growth
- Support funding discussions, banking relationships, investment opportunities
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team across UK entities
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), substantial PQE
- Senior finance leadership experience, ideally multi-entity/group structure
- Experience managing finance through significant growth, change or transformation
- Track record building high-performing finance teams
- Strong UK accounting standards, tax, compliance and governance knowledge
- Strong technical accounting, financial controls and governance experience
- Commercial acumen; experience with M&A, due diligence and board-level reporting
- Highly desirable: accountancy practice/professional services background; ambition to progress to CFO
